Uhm..hey guys!

Wow, it's been a long time. Hasn't it? There really isn't much for me to talk about; life just...got in the way. I was going through some e-mails and lo and behold!! I found the e-mail from this site. Who would have thought?? So, I'm back!

We still have eight parakeets, but we've had to seperate them! It's a lot of cages now, instead of just two. But when we wake up to find bloody birds...yeah, we don't want that. At first, just taking the two odd boys{who didn't have a mate} out of the larger cage, and putting both of them in different cages{so each got their own cage} settled the fights for a while. That left two sisters and their mates in the cage. But yesterday we found one of our little females all bloodied up. Feather are torn off of her stomach, close to under her wing, and they broke the skin. There is also a scab above her eye now, too. She's eating and drinking in her new cage, and seems to be a lot better! Though the emergancy cage we have is only big enough for one bird, so her mate is keeping a close eye on the cage. Soon, possibly today, we are going to buy two smaller cages to put the pair in. That'll make five cages for the parakeets.

I still have possession of Ember, though the parentals are not pleased about it. Being very active in my life has led me far away; I am rarely even at home anymore. Ember has chosen my aunt to be his new favorite, and doesn't want to leave her. Not even for me. But I'm slowly building a bond up with him again. I am still able to cuddle him and play with him and stuff - so it isn't like he hates me. He just prefers my aunt and who can blame him?

I'm not sure how long it has been since I've been on...but yeah, last time I was dating a Seth, I believe? Well that broke apart...badly. He was using me, so yeah. I have a new boyfriend who is a lot better and really caring. We've been dating for three months now! Other than that..I can't think of much going on besides being busy. Oh yeah! I placed 3rd in the District FFA speaking contest and am going to a Forensics contest tonight!

It's great to be back, I really missed you guys and having people to talk to about my birds. I plan on staying now, but I'm not sure if I can be on like...every day or stuff. Still - great to be back. <33 Blessed be.

Hey CJ!!

How are you doing? How are the girls? I've really missed hearing about them and all the cockatiels too! Ember missed watching your videos. :)

Any way we can get some of the recent photo threads back?  It would be a shame to lose some of the recent photos.
Thanks Mods

Ello, ello!

Life is hectic, as always. I'll be coming on as much as I possibly can.

Since February, my then boyfriend broke up with me. I am dating somebody new and it's going really well. I recently got accepted into UW-River Falls directly into the Animal Science program. I will be going there after I finish High School. I'm really excited for it! The 'family' has nine parakeets now.  We had ten, before, but our female (who was previously egg-bound) passed away. Nobody really knows what happened, we just came home to find her on the bottom of the cage, dead. I, personally, have two parakeets and my boyfriend has two parakeets. We still have Ember, who still prefers my aunt over anybody else.

How is everybody doing?
